Spain, the country of bullfighters, flamenco, and the most famous in Europe olives, is a place located on the Iberian peninsula with the endless coastline on the Mediterranean and Atlantic. The location and vast territories it occupies make this place very diverse in terms of language, climate and landscape.
The country is divided into 17 independent autonomous regions, in which, apart from the official Spanish language you can also find many varieties of dialects such as the Andalusian and Galician. The closeness of the African continent makes the southern regions of the country, especially Andalusia the hottest and the driest areas.However, the Pyrenees, the surrounding Spain mountains spread in south-east and the vast plateau of Iberian Meseta is a reason why we can meet the green meadows of Galicia, citrus and olive groves along the coastal lowlands of the Mediterranean, or find a dry and treeless river valleys on the plateau.
Spain is also a country of non-standard buildings in Barcelona, designed by Antonio Gaudi. Equally beautiful cathedrals, churches and monuments can be enjoyed for example in Madrid. Spain is also a home to one of the most interesting painters of the twentieth century Salavador Dali.
It is said that the Spaniards never sleep, because there will always be a reason for the start of the next fiesta full of music and local dishes. It is impossible not to like them especially for their "mañana", which literally means everything and nothing, but it always says that we should not hurry.
